Let me tell you a story, a lil story bout something

but i'm bustin and expressin this shit thats been bothering me

it all started back way back, about a year ago
i just finished my first year of college yo
never lookin for a ho, but a nice beautiful girl
that can show me what love is and take over your whole world
that's when i met this chick right, her name is chi
in a fucked up relationshiop, she needed to breathe
and needed to cease the peeps, she hung out with
cause every time i saw her she'd be always throwin fits
so i told her to quit, the bullshit, and i treated her with respect
it was something new to her, and she just drew to it
i ain't a computer, but i could compute, she was so cute
i had no loot, should i give her a chance, man, shoot


So i gave her a chance, it was great, the whole summer
both going back to school, our relationship started to stumble
we were in trouble, she just wouldn't understand
how i was fallkin in love, but still needed to kick it with my mans
we talkeda bout this shit, and i thought it was solved
but somehow it would always revolve the same old prob
so i thought to myself is this right or should i move on
i contemplated and saw this is exactly what i want
but things needed to change, and i gave her stipulations
which was completely wrong, but i was just gettin impatient
shes a very jealous girl, but so am i
i just wanted to trust and to be honest when we look into each others eyes
but being drunk i did a stupid thing with a stupid chick
i don't remember it, but i promise we didn't kiss
through thick and think we still stayed together strong
i was like this is gonna work, or so i thought


Were comin closer to the present, still bout 3 months away
that's when all the real problems really came
she told me she needed a break, just some time off
we couldn't see other people, just time to gather our thoughts
so i was like why? i love you, why you doin this to me
i thought you were the girl that i was gonna marry?
she told me in her soft voice, everything is gonna be alright
BUT IT'S NOT ALRIGHT, YOU ARE MY LIFE!!!

shes like it's just a break, we'll be back together soon
BUT THEN SHE DOESN'T CALL, DOESN'T PICK UP MY PHONE CALLS!
